The MC410 combines two intelligent vision systems to deliver accurate, high-speed placement across an exceptionally wide range of SMD components—from ultra-miniature 01005s to large parts up to 100 x 150 mm. Smaller and fine-pitch components are aligned using a high-speed, head-mounted Cognex® on-the-fly vision system, while larger devices are processed with a base-mounted upward-looking camera for precise alignment and placement. The MC410 runs on the same proven Windows®-based software platform used across the entire MC Series, refined through years of customer-driven development. Flexible programming options—including CAD import, manual teaching, and direct entry—allow operators to create jobs quickly while reducing setup complexity. A built-in virtual PCB simulator verifies placement data before production begins, helping minimize errors and speed up first-board validation.

During operation, the software provides real-time visibility into production performance, including pick camera images, machine status, placement progress, and throughput.
