Microsystems World CNC (WinCNC) Boosts Production Capacity with Manncorp's Trade-In, Trade-Up Program

We are thrilled to congratulate Microsystems World CNC on a major upgrade to their production capabilities, making another milestone in their growth as an industry leader.

Microsystems World CNC is widely known for developing one of the most powerful PC-based CNC motion control systems in the world. Their flagship WinCNC software and hardware package drives thousands of CNC routers, plasma cutters, and laser machines, enabling operators to run complex tool paths with exceptional precision, speed, and stability. With a reputation for reliability and innovation, Microsystems World CNC continues to push the boundaries of what manufacturers can achieve.

Behind every high-performance control system they deliver is a carefully engineered, high-quality PCB assembly process—and that's where the long-standing partnership with Manncorp began.

A Partnership Built on Growth

Microsystems World CNC first approached Manncorp in 2017, looking for a way to bring PCB assembly of their proprietary control boards fully in-house. Their goal was clear: improve turnaround times, increase control over quality, and eliminate bottlenecks caused by outsourcing.

Their first Manncorp machine—a benchtop stencil printer—gave them exactly that. With a reliable, entry-level tool for paste deposition, their team gained the ability to prototype and produce boards with greater consistency and independence.

As demand for their CNC control systems grew, so did their need for more throughput.

In 2019, Microsystems World CNC expanded their line with the MC400 Pick and Place, a highly flexible machine well-suited for a variety of board types. This upgrade enabled them to boost production capacity, reduce manual handling, and maintain the level of precision their customers depend on.

For several years, the MC400 served as the heart of their assembly process—running daily, supporting continuous customer growth, and proving that the right equipment can transform an operation.

Scaling to the Next Level with Trade-In, Trade-Up

As production continued to scale, they recognized it was time to take their production to the next level with a fully automated, inline SMT process. In Fall 2025, Microsystems World CNC turned to Manncorp's Trade-In, Trade-Up Program, a path designed to help growing manufacturers upgrade equipment without the financial burden of starting from scratch.

Through the program, they traded in their trusted MC400 and transitioned to a complete inline SMT solution configured specifically for their workflow.

Their new high-efficiency line includes:

Their system not only accelerates throughput but also reduces manual steps, increases repeatability, and provides the foundation for future expansion.

Empowering the Next Chapter

With their new inline SMT line, Microsystems World CNC is equipped to meet rising customer demand and push production efficiency even further. They now have:

  • Faster board cycle times
  • Greater consistency and automation
  • Scalable capacity for growing product lines
  • A more streamlined, operator-friendly workflow

We are proud to have been a part of this journey—from their first bench top printer to a fully integrated SMT production line. Their success is a perfect example of how thoughtful equipment investment, combined with a long-term partnership, can transform manufacturing capability.

Congratulations again to the entire Microsystem World CNC (WinCNC) team. We can't wait to see what they build next.
