Trident CLO Zero-Discharge PCB Cleaner
For manufacturers using water soluble flux exclusively, Trident CLO offers affordable automatic PCB cleaning and cleanliness testing. The Trident CLO system captures, filters and completely de-ionizes ordinary tap water while completely eliminating the need for a drain line, permits or wastewater management, saving money, time and hassle. The system can be connected to a water line or refilled manually. With no drain required and water line connection optional, Trident CLO can be placed anywhere on the production floor. Trident CLO provides the same superior cleaning and drying power as the other machines in the Trident series and is capable of removing all water soluble fluxes in eutectic and lead-free applications. (For a closed-loop system that removes all flux types, including rosin and no clean, see Trident ZDO.)

Details
- Thorough Cleaning of Assembles with Water Soluble Fluxes
-
Trident CLO provides fully automatic washing, rinsing, drying and cleanliness testing of printed circuit boards assembled with eutectic (SnPb) or lead-free solders and water soluble fluxes. Trident's asymmetrical fan-jet spray system with twin counter-rotating spray bars and twenty fan-jet nozzles delivers precision-diffused washer solution and rinse water onto an oscillating board rack to ensure excellent under-component penetration and highly effective coverage on even high-density printed circuit boards populated with low-standoff surface mount (SMT) components.
Trident's fast cycle times allow more assemblies to be cleaned, tested and dried per shift than any other automated defluxing systems. - Cleans to Specified Levels
- The on-board cleanliness tester continuously monitors cleanliness levels in real-time and controls the cleaning process automatically, ensuring cleaned circuit boards meet or exceed programmed settings, board after board, for the most consistent cleanliness levels possible.
- Easy Operation & Maintenance
- Estimated completion time, cleanliness values and operating temperatures are displayed in real time on screen. Gauges on the machine indicate water line, spray manifold and pre-drain filter pressures.
The machine may be connected to a water line, allowing the water storage tank to be refilled at the flip of a switch, or the tank can be filled manually, completely eliminating the requirement for a water connection. - Statistical Process Control (SPC) for Traceability and Tracking
- Trident CLO's SPC data recording automatically tracks alpha-numeric cleaning program names, process times and temperatures, set and actual cleanliness levels, and other valuable data. The included bar code scanner makes it quick and easy to attach process data to a specific assembly. SPC data can be viewed on screen, sent to a networked printer, or exported to USB or another computer via network protocols.
