Plasticos Record, a manufacturer of high quality lighting products for the automotive industry, recently purchased a turnkey SMT assembly system from Manncorp in an effort to accelerate its migration from Through Hole Technology (THT) to Surface Mount Technology (SMT).

The complete line, which was installed earlier this week at the company’s Tizayuca facility near Mexico City, includes a 5500 Dual Squeegee SMD Screen Printer, MC-385V1V SMT Pick and Place System, CR-4000C SMT Reflow Oven, and two BC Series Linking Conveyors.
